Manejo da irrigação do cafeeiro (Coffea arabica L.) desde a fase inicial de formação

Abstract

Utilizando um sistema de irrigação por aspersão, tipo pivô central, com 1,6 ha irrigados, tem-se avaliado o desenvolvimento de cafeeiros da cultivar Rubi, em fase inicial de formação da lavoura, objetivando analisar os efeitos de diferentes lâminas de irrigação. As lâminas adotadas são de 0, 60, 80, 100, 120 e 140% da evaporação do tanque Classe "A" (ECA). Os parâmetros analisados foram: altura, diâmetro de copa, diâmetro de caule, número de ramos plagiotrópicos. Os dados obtidos mostraram que não houve diferença significativa a nível de 5% de probabilidade, há que ressaltar que o experimento encontra-se em fase inicial, necessitando de mais tempo para obter resultados consistentes. No entanto através da análise dos gráficos de comportamento dos parâmetros em função do período de avaliação para cada lâmina aplicada, nota-se uma tendência da lâmina de 80% da ECA apresentar uma melhor resposta em relação ao crescimento da cultura enquanto que a testemunha (0% ECA) apresentou uma tendência de decréscimo da taxa de crescimento para todas variáveis analisadas com exceção do diâmetro de caule. Observou-se até o momento que a estação do ano influenciou a taxa de crescimento, sendo o verão a estação de maior crescimento da cultura para o Sul de Minas.

Abstrat by utilizing a springling irrigation system, central pivot type with irrigated 16 ha, the developement of the coffee tree Rubi, at the early phase of the crop growth has been evaluated with a view to analysing the affects of different irrigation heights. The heights adopted were of 0, 60, 80, 100, 120 and 140% of the evaporation of the class A tank ( E C A ). The analysed paramenters were height crown diameter, stem diameter, number of plagiotropic branches. The data obtained showed that there were no significant differences at the level of 5% probability it must be stressed that the experiment is at the early phase, needing further time to obtain consistent results. Nevertheless throught the analyzis of the behavior graphics of the parameters in terms of the evacuation period for each applied height, a trend of the height of 80% oh the E C A presenting a better response to the crop growth whilst the check ( 0% ECA) presented a decreased trend of the growth rate for all the variables analyzed with the exception of the crown diameter. It was also found that the season of the year influenced the growth rate summer being the season in which the crop grew the most in the south of Minas.
