A recomendação de cultivares envolve a avaliação de materiais genéticos de naturezas diversas, em várias condições ambientais. Este trabalho objetivou avaliar o comportamento de oito materiais genéticos superiores de café conilon, em ambientes representativos da espécie no estado do Espírito Santo. A média geral das duas primeiras colheitas foi alta (54,26 sc. benef./ha), o que mostra o potencial produtivo dos materiais para o Estado. Estão sobressaindo: ‘Clones Elites’ e as variedades experimentais EMCAPER EXP. 8112 (P), EMCAPER EXP. 8132 (T) e EMCAPER EXP. 8122 (I).
Recommendation of cultivars involves evaluation of genetic material of diverse nature in various environmental conditions. This work had the objective to evaluate the behavior of eight types of superior genetic material of conilon coffee in environments representative of the state of Espírito Santo. The general average of the first two harvests was high (54,26 sc.benef./ha), which demonstrates the potential productivity of the material for the state. Outstanding are: ‘Elite Clones and the experimental varieties EMCAPER EXP. 8112 (P), EMCAPER EXP. 8132 (T) and EMCAPER EXP. 8122 (I).
